Kari has been the CEO of Endomines Group since March 2022. Endomines is a gold mining and exploration company with gold production Finland and seven gold assets in the USA. The
company is listed in Nasdaq Helsinki with a market cap of approximately 80-90 MUSD.
Prior to joining Endomines, Kari was the EVP of New Business at Nordkalk Corporation, leading the M&A function, strategy and other development activities. Nordkalk was acquired by SigmaRoc during Autumn 2021. Prior to the EVP role, Kari was the COO of Nordkalk leading a function with 20 limestone factories and over 700 employees. During his tenure, Nordkalk went through a major transformation program with EBITDA improvement of approximately 40 %.
Prior to Nordkalk, Kari worked in the mining industry in several domestic and international leadership roles.
Kari earned a Master of Engineering from the Technical University of Helsinki and an eMBA from Aalto University in Finland. He started his career in Western Australia. He currently lives in Finland with his wife and two children
